Quality Care That You Deserve
Potomac Internists specialize in quality primary care. We are committed to setting the gold standard by providing exemplary care to each and every patient. Our practice strives to develop close, personal relationships with patients and we offer a patient centered office focused on preventive healthcare and the early detection and elimination of disease.
Our physicians strongly believe in efficient and reliable communication and access between themselves, their patients, and the office. They are committed to answering questions, listening to concerns, explaining outcomes of treatments, and providing education to each patient.
Rather than overbooking their schedule, our physicians prefer to maintain a comprehensive and direct interaction with each patient. They schedule lengthy appointments with their patients that enable them to fully assess their health and well-being and make detailed recommendations for improving health.
Focus on Prevention
Our primary care practice focuses on the importance of preventive care and proactive health. Each year, our physicians offer a complete and extensive comprehensive physical exam to patients, which enables them to detect early signs of serious illness and life-threatening disease. Using the results of the yearly comprehensive physical, our doctors will develop and customize a wellness plan for each individual patient, with the goal of enhancing the patient’s quality of life. A yearly comprehensive physical is recommended to all of our patients.
Did you know? That 60% of early deaths are a result of behaviors and/or chronic conditions that are preventable.
Potomac Internists is operated around the philosophy of quality personalized care (also known as personalized care). Drs. Blee, Li, and Nealon schedule longer sessions with their patients, ensuring that they spend quality time with each individual.
Our physicians will work with you in a “partnership” so that they can take the time to explain the results of your physical and how you can best implement the changes you’ll need to make to your lifestyle. They’ll identify any underlying factors in your lifestyle that may lead to a chronic condition and develop a customized wellness program that may reduce symptoms, improve your quality of life, and help avert diseases such as stroke, diabetes, and heart disease.
Our physicians offer their patients recommendations and referrals to the best specialists in Washington, D.C., and around the country.
